Adam and the umbrella
So we went on the Piedmont Farm Tour recently and discovered one farm with fainting goats. If you haven't had the experience yet, look here. So we decided to see the goats in action. Unfortunately, no matter our attempts to shock them, they little fellas failed to fall. The pictures are priceless!

Scarlett & the Eastern Bluebird
Berkeley found a little baby bird in the yard and Scarlett set about the rescue. We made a nest in a shoebox and kept the bird overnight. The next day we contacted the Piedmont Wildlife Center. They gave us some tips on what to do and determined that the bird needed rehabilitation. Will and Scarlett took the bird to the wildlife center and they said it had a broken wing, but that it would be fine. They will rehabilitate and raise the bird until it is old enough to be placed back in the wild. The center runs off donations and never turns away an animal in need. It was an awesome experience for Scarlett and us!

Convulsions on a dance floor 2007
Please explain why Amy looks fabulous. And yes, you know you love the red bra, only the best for hotel hookers.

sorry no pictures
I just returned from a fabulous trip to Chicago with some school chums. We attended the AERA conference. I would be sharing fantastic pictures of Indiana and the Easter Bunny's sweet ride, but I lost my camera.

Durham Cows
We braved the cold weather to take in our first Durham Bulls game (or Cows as Scarlett fondly called them). It was great fun. Scarlett met two ten year old girls and didn't believe that cotton candy was actually candy. So Fun!!
